Hi I’ll be honest… what is the full name of this sermon?

Hallelujah!!! I’m favored and blessed with $60,000 every week! Now I can afford anything and also support the work of God and the church.

#2 (listening on behalf of someone else) is something I see often and it vexes my soul. Just a few weeks back, someone sent me a sermon clip on Instagram of a black preacher and the crowd clapping and cheering him on (very common in black churches, I would know), and I mentioned that I hate seeing that for this very reason. If you were actually listening, being convicted, and digesting the sermon, you would be quiet. I can't recall ever clapping during a sermon or cheering when the pastor is putting down certain actions cause I'm too busy thinking about myself. Even if it's something I haven't done, it's a warning about things that anyone may do one day. But these people are cheering because they feel others should be doing that and aren't actually looking at themselves. I used the example of sermons where pastors talk about how 'boys shouldn't wear their pants to their knees' and how moms would be clapping and nodding their heads, hoping their son would listen and change. I also said it feels like a form of worship towards their pastors, hyping them up, which is unnecessary. [The church I grew up in always felt like a popularity contest. Legalistic, judgemental, hypocritical. Thank God I came to know the true gospel and found a wonderful church.] Anyways, not long after that convo, I saw a video of a compilation of not-well-liked pastors, and it included Paul Washers 'Savage Moment' where he was preaching that Christians shouldn't look like the world. The congregation started cheering and he said, "I don't know why you're clapping, I'm talking about you" 🙏

I’ve lived a sinful wasteful life so far. I haven’t done 1/100 of the things brother Paul has done. I’m chief of sinners. And yet I’m going to heaven. Because of the work of Christ.

Consider the rich man who came to God, who had not made Jesus is Lord but was given over to money. In Mark 10:21 we read: "Jesus looked at him and LOVED HIM" Did this man ever make a commitment? We are not told. We are just told that Jesus loved him even in his idolatry. Let us be clear - God's wrath, judgement and hell are all real. But any sermon needs to be balanced and the whole of Scripture must be taken into account. This clip does not do that.

I think I've strayed very close to crossing the dating a non believer line, and I'm still praying for them. But i fear I've sinned against them and God by going too close. Please pray for me, that God would give me grace, and help me follow His will, not my own. That His word would be a lamp unto my feet, and that i would stop seeing how close i can get to sin, without sin. I thought i could witness, but my feelings and thoughts, i fear i let take priority over His word. Which is a theme, of my life. Please pray for me

I had a past before I met my wife. I was unsaved before I met my wife. It is 100% easier to live peacefully and my partner's past is never an issue because I also have a past.

Here’s another quote from this video around 12:30 marker. “Realize what that is. Receiving the word is producing the righteousness of God. Being doers of the word is producing the righteousness of God. It basically says three different ways the same thing as he’s moving thru these verses. This is what he’s talking about. This is the way God saves people.” This is heresy! I’ll Be Honest there needs to be a public correction of this. This is no small mistake! Salvation is by faith alone. The doing/obeying Gods word comes as a result of this salvation.

Consider this question: What comes first - the love of God for the sinner or the sinner's repentance?

Okay, we need to get some balance here. Yes, the Bible talks about the hatred of God and the wrath of God and, yes, we need to fear Him. But we need to balance this out with the truth of God's undeserved love. Consider the following: Romans 5:8 "God shows His LOVE for us in that, WHILE WE WERE STILL SINNERS, Christ died for us" Ephesians 2:4-5 (after Paul has declared all mankind obejects of wrath): "But God, being rich in mercy, BECAUSE OF THE GREAT LOVE WITH WHICH HE LOVED US, EVEN WHEN WE WERE DEAD IN TRESPASSES, made us alive together with Christ" 1 John 4:10 "In this is love, NOT THAT WE HAVE LOVED GOD BUT THAT HE LOVED US and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins" If God does not love the sinner then these verses are a lie and we are without hope. This does not minimise the hatred of God against sin, not reality of judgement or hellfire but sometimes, in my view, reformed preachers (of whom I am one) can neglect the balance that the Bible itself gives.

I like Tim Conway but this sermon has some concerning things in it. Starting at the 10:30 minute marker he says: "which is able to save your souls. You see what this is saying? The word, the implanted word, which you’re supposed to be receiving with meekness and you gotta put off all this anger and this stuff that doesn’t produce the righteousness of God, you gotta put, and this is able to save your souls.” …” do you think that way? That this word in the hands of God is Gods instrument to save your soul and the idea is that brethren the main preoccupation of you and me ought to be the saving of our soul. You ought to be taking those steps and doing those things that Gods word tells you to do if you wanna… listen…” [he goes on to talk about people that get up early to make money and get what they want etc. etc. and then he continues] “ how much more ought we to be preoccupied with the very things that God tells us in his word are for the saving of our souls?” James never says doing (which literally means preforming) would save the soul. He said receiving the implanted Word saves the soul, implication: faith and repentance. Tim convolutes this passage and comes dangerously close to preaching the heresy of works unto salvation. Given the right motives and proper perspective, the sermon is good. Tim you need to be more careful in handling this passage and interpret it exactly as it reads, RECEIVING the implanted WORD is the thing that saves.

Wow pastor Tim, that mental picture of the pile of nody parts was vivid and effective. To see that which is attractive and enjoy the way that God has created such beauty in the body of a fine specimen of humanity is not sinful, and gives glory to God. But if you look with imaginations of using that person for your satisfaction, and begin to fantasize, you have already committed fornication. Don't do it anymore because it isn't becoming of a New Creation in Christ Jesus. I Corinthians 15-21 And that He died for all, that they which live should NOT HENCEFORTH live unto themselves, but unto HIM which died for them, and rose again. Wherefore henceforth we know no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we Him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is A NEW CREATURE: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; to this, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are AMBASSADORS (that means we are representatives) for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he has made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD in Him. Ephesians 5:2-6 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once NAMED among you, as become saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has ANY INHERITANCE in the kingdom of Christ and of God. I love paul washer but lately it been making me feel like its easier to become a special navy seal then enter the kingdom of God and I truly dont think thats how God intended this to be

we are all sinners, and we have broken God's law. Therefore we all deserve hell. But God was merciful and sent Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, His Son, to die for the sins of those who would believe in Him. He lived a sinless life, and then he died on the cross, taking the wrath of God we deserved onto himself. He rose again 3 days later to defeat death for all of those who would put their trust in him. If you repent of your sin and place your faith in Christ, He will save you from hell. This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The only way to enter heaven.

Im just confused on whether we must still keep the Sabbath or not, this is something that i did once but stopped because i realized we are not under law but under grace, but now i always go back and think if im disobeying God by not doing it anymore

This is the EXACT situation I am in currently. I just recently became a Christian, only a few weeks now, and I think back to the day I was baptized and the day I first accepted Jesus and the day I felt the Holy Spirit come to dwell inside me, and for all my doubts I know the truth. Which is why when those glorious feelings are now absent, I wonder if I have committed the unforgivable sin or have lost my salvation. Why does God not appear right now to you and me? Because when He leaves, what will we say? Do you have faith in the sky? No, the sky simply is. Blessed are those who believe and have not seen, that is what we know, but for we children of Christ today it is blessed are those who believe in light even when basked in sheer darkness. The darkness of the world is doubt and loneliness and mistrust in God, how we used to live before we came to Christ. And we see the darkness for what it is now, and even though we are surrounded it in the same things that once gave us pleasure make us feel sick to our stomach. The Lord has NEVER abandoned us. How could we ever think that? Christ is proof our creator has NOT left us. It truly is as simple as the understanding that Lord has not abandoned us even when we feel alone. Because it is when we are at our lowest I feel we are closer to God than ever, when the world crushes us that is when God is closest to us. The Master did not come to heal the sick, he came to heal the broken. This isn't God leaving us, for God never leaves us. This is God getting us to stand our faith on its own two feet, a father teaching a child to ride a bike by letting go of them as they ride. Blessed be the Lord our God, I can't believe I didn't realize this. Thank you, Mr. Washer, you have helped me so much. I have never said this before, but I know it is the truth when I say it now- you are doing God's work. Thank you. May God bless you and I pray I one day get to meet the real you.

Am i " keeping the rightious requirements of the law" is tim serious here? The bible is clear, and is the christian view, that Jesus kept the requirement of the law for us. ?????
